Meet our young adults director
Jesse Cortez
Jesse moved to Fresno, CA. in 2016 after graduating from Pacheco High School in Los Banos, California. He met his wife Abby in 2018, dated in 2019, and got married in 2020. Had their first daughter in 2023 & 2nd daughter is expected to arrive in December 2024.
Ministry:
Jesse has been running the Young Adults Ministry at New Life Baptist church since January 2022. He encourages and challenges every young adult to critically think and question what the bible says to help strengthen their faith and remain firm, especially when the world around us says otherwise.
On top of Young Adults Director, he is also the Worship Director here at New Life, & Pastor Moses's Pastoral Intern.
Jesse is expected to start his academic Journey into Ministry in 2025.
